Advantage:
More and more customers now demand the more cost-efficient PP woven bags instead of the conventional gunny bags and the other packing bags. This PP Three Layer Tape Line extruder (ABA) has the choice of low-cost materials for filling in layer B with stable processing with great varieties in the widths and line speeds producing first class layer extrusions.
Traditional methods are less efficient and lacks the quality of today’s technology. One of the biggest challenges of conventional method is the durability of the tape; as the composition modifier, (CaCo3), has the characteristic of absorbing water, forcing the tape to break easily during the stretching proceed. To solve the above problem, ABA has included an extra outside layer (layer A), which contains only 3% of Polyolefin resin modifier, making the dehydration process more effective when the film comes through the water quench at high speed for thorough cooling. Therefore, with this outside layer that has only 3% of Polyolefin resin modifier (CaCo3), not only does it make the lamination adhesion better but also does it save on the cost of lamination material by reducing the laminating thickness.
Three Layer and Single layer film comparison:
Traditionally, Single layer film would contain more than 3% and up to 20% of Polyolefin resin modifier, making the dehydration process more difficult and the tape to break more easily. The advantage of three-layer film is that the middle layer (layer B) contains up to 28%(CaCo3) while the outside two layers contain 3%(CaCo3) only. This will help the film to dehydrate efficiently and at the same time maintain high durability during stretching proceed. Not only does this keep the high tension of tape, but also does the surface of tape keep its brightness.
The Three-Layer Extrusion Tape Line with break-through technology produces 3-layer PP tapes at a low manufacturing cost with premium quality. The tapes are mainly used for PP woven sacks, and various applications.
